First Eucharist
(Communion)
Parent Meeting

There will be a meeting for parents wishing to prepare their children or teenager for First Eucharist (Communion) on:

Thursday, February 2nd
6:45 to 9:00pm
in the Parish Center.


This meeting is for Parents Only.  Childcare will be available for $2.00 per child.  If you have attended a previous meeting for another child in the past you must still attend this meeting for the child/youth currently preparing. 

Please prepare to pay a $30.00 for book/material fee.  To begin the preparation process for first sacraments, parents must be registered in the parish and children must be enrolled in the second continuous year of Religious Education or Catholic School.

RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

This program is for those who are interested in becoming Catholic or who wish to enter the Catholic faith through a profession of faith. 

It is also for adult Catholics who have not yet received the sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist.

"Healing the Trauma of Death Due to Homicide"


The Diocesan Office of Restorative Justice is offering a two day training on Sunday, February 12 and Sunday, Febraury 19 from 9:30am to 4:30pm.  The purpose of the training is so that parishes can better assist families that have had a loved one murdered. 

Pastoral Associates, Parish bereavement volunteers, youth and young adult ministries, spiritual directors, deacons/deacon candidates and their wives, and others interested are encouraged to attend the training.  Training will be held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center and offered in English and Spanish.

Migration Mass

Come celebrate our many cultures.  Bishop Barnes will preside on:

Pro Life Catholic Ministries

January 21, 2012 is the 39th anniversary weekend of the Supreme Court descision Roe V Wade.  In response, Bishop del Riego will be marching once again in peace solidarity with thousands of men, women and children at the eight annual West Coast Walk for Life in San Francisco.

Wings - AM Group Meeting

Are you a new mom or know someone who is?  MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) is a faith based ministry just for moms who are raising children from infancy through grade school. 

Please join us the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at the parish center for support, prayer and fun with other moms just like you!  We will share a light breakfast each meeting and childcare is provided.
